For me it's boring. if I dont like much my small city in brazil what do u think about here? (I guess there's not this "like much", again you probably thought in portuguese "não gosto muito") just say "I don't like or I don't like a lot (is it right?!)

That is how I learnt English. By watching movies with English subtitles and reading the original Sherlock Holmes novels with my teacher hearing my pronunciation and correcting me when necessary. I'd also ask him if I didn't understand a word and he'd explain it to me in context. It definitely helped a lot by avoiding using Portuguese at all during class.
